Exient is looking for a UA Associate (Jr Position Available – Experience Depending) to join our growing Product & Marketing Team. We are looking for a self-motivated person to work closely with our UA Lead, game teams, and key stakeholders. 

In this position, you will support the UA Lead  and help run successful campaigns for the games in Exient’s portfolio. You will be responsible for managing multiple campaigns across several ad networks, analysing performance data, identifying new opportunities and working closely with the creative team on any new assets needed. You will also help support the operational flow of testing new game concepts. 

If you are experienced in UA, campaign management or media buying with an interest in and knowledge of mobile gaming, this role is ideal for you.

Who you will be working with:

  • The UA team within Exient’s Product & Marketing department where you may need to work collaboratively across reporting lines with our data scientists, product managers, producers, designers and engineers as well as external partners. 

What you will be working on

  • Set up and manage UA campaigns across multiple games and ad networks such as Facebook, Google, Unity, Snapchat, TikTok, ironSource, AppLovin etc. 
  • Monitor, optimize and report campaign performance on an ongoing basis 
  • Develop insights and best practices and observe market trends to improve future campaigns
  • Together with the UA Lead, analyse the performance of campaigns and creatives to help build a strategy and identify new opportunities
  • Work closely with the creative team on new concept, music and SFX ideas
  • Liaise with internal teams across data, product and design
  • Stay on top of current trends in mobile game advertising and social media/pop culture

Recommended Technical and Creative Skills

  • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating graphic and design and illustration skills for the digital environment
  • Highly proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite, including knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • Understand the value of testing, AB variants and being guided by data in design
  • Strong collaboration skills, working with a talented team of designers and artists to promote and ensure their work is shown in the best light
  • Willingness to rapidly learn new skills and new systems

Personal and Professional Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in UA/performance marketing, campaign management, (mobile) media buying or ad ops
  • Fluency in Excel and Google sheets 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Organised, proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in an agile environment while maintaining deadlines
  • Analytical and detail oriented mindset, strategically as well as creatively 
  • Keen to solve problems to the best of their abilities
  • Interest in and understanding of TikTok/Snapchat/social media trends and pop culture references  
  • Passionate about mobile games and with experience of playing a vast variety. You will know your match 3 games from your runners, shooters and puzzle games
  • A fast learner who is eager to acquire new skills and experiences 

Helpful to have

  • Experience in mobile game advertising, particularly within the (hybrid) casual genre 
  • Basic knowledge of the various UA channels, their benchmarks and best practices
  • Experience in working with mobile attribution (Singular, Adjust, Appsflyer, Tenjin etc.)  
  • Understanding of the process of launching a mobile game
  • Fluency in another language besides English
